Door knocking

Below is how best to conduct door-knocking in your specific area. Added to this is a brief script you can use to introduce yourself and a youtube video on how to best deliver the script.

Hi,

A competing agent has a lot of listings in the area and I'm guessing he's spoken to all the neighbours in the respective streets. Where's a good place to start door knocking?

You'd THINK that the other agent has knocked on other doors in that street but in my experience, 90% of the time it hasn't happened. And if they have, so what? Maybe they planted the seed of thought in someone's mind and now you're going in to pick them off.

Remember, use the script, be friendly, be brief and have fun! If home owners see that you enjoy your job, they won't be offended that you've stopped by for a chat...and a cuppa...and a look through their home...and getting them to sign a Form 6 Laughing
